The Guardian of the Estate Report

A Guardian of the Estate report identifies all financial transactions that occurred for the incapacitated person during the previous reporting year. This report must be completed annually during each year of the guardianship. The reporting year for an incapacitated person (IP) usually begins on the anniversary date of the court order that initiated the guardianship.

If the guardian submits a paper-filed Guardian of the Estate report, court staff are required to enter it in GTS.

If your county has integrated GTS with your case management system, be sure to enter the report in GTS and the information will then be sent to your case management system automatically.

The help topics below do not show you how to complete the Guardian of the Estate report form (use the Step-by-Step Guides for that). These topics offer some guidance or provide clarification on specific areas of the report form.
